Sonia Beverley provided an absolutely incredible weekend-long ceremony for myself and my closest friends and family, to celebrate the arrival of my first child. As someone who strongly feels that the transition to motherhood is a great rite of passage, often overlooked in modern society, it was important to me to celebrate the occasion with intention. Sonia assisted in many aspects of the weekend's plans - she communicated with my guests with grace on the outline of events, assuring that each moment was filled with special touches that really spoke to me as an individual. There were several ceremonies throughout the weekend led by Sonia reflecting on motherhood, transitioning, and the community of child rearing. All were delivered with a compassionate spirituality, not religious, but in line with my own personal beliefs. In addition, she assisted my closest friends in their own ceremony - from running yoga classes, to creating works of art for myself and my child. It was a truly special and memorable celebration, and one that wouldn't have been possible without the gentle guidance and mindful generosity of spirit Sonia provided.
